Jana Foster-harris was born and raised in columbus, oh. she graduated from mifflin high school and fort hayes career center in 2019. after getting her high school diploma, she attended livingstone college in salisbury, nc where she obtained her bachelor of arts degree in criminal justice. while at livingstone college ms. foster-harris became a member of sigma gamma rho sorority, inc. AND tau beta sigma national honorary band sorority, inc. she graduated in 2023 and is now otaining her masters OF social work DEGREE at the joint master of social work program at north carolina a&t and university of north carolina greensboro. WHILE OBTAINING HER MASTERS DEGREE, SHE IS A middle school COMMUNITIES IN SCHOOLS SITE COORDINATOR AND an INTERN AT A YOUTH CRISIS FACILITY.

Hittin' The Road was established in APRIL of 2024. IT was visualized as a program to fund minority middle school students to attend college tours TO HISTORICALLY Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), engage them in HBCU sporting events, tournaments, extracurricular and hisorical activites. We strive to expose students to successful people that look like them, as early as possible, before entering high school.
